One River School Lake Oswego offers contemporary art and digital design classes for kids, teens, and adults, with a focus on hands-on creative learning.
Each summer, the school runs a wide variety of art camps for students entering kindergarten through 12th grade, including studio art, digital art, sculpture, animation, and more, with programs grouped by grade level.
The school is located in the Kruse Way area of Lake Oswego.
About the activity:
Teen artists build large-scale fantasy creatures using plaster wrap over armatures, then apply acrylic textures, paint, and mixed media to bring their imaginative beings to life. From initial sketches to finished sculpture, students develop both conceptual and technical skills.
