OMSI

OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry) is a science and technology museum offering hands-on exhibits, educational programs, and immersive experiences.

Each summer, OMSI runs day and overnight camps for children entering grades K–12, with programming that includes science, engineering, outdoor adventure, and creative exploration.

Camps are held at the OMSI museum in Portland’s Central Eastside, as well as at Camp Gray on the Oregon Coast and Camp Hancock in the high desert. Prices for Summer Camp will be released when registration opens!

About the activity:

Don’t just crawl into summer—leap into adventure! This four-day session is a "greatest hits" tour of everything that makes Camp Hancock special. You’ll hunt for ancient fossils, study desert insects, and learn to catch lizards just like a real field scientist. Between the stargazing and the trail treks, you’ll have plenty of time to hang out with your cabin buddies and try out new activities led by our awesome counselors. It’s the perfect "starter" camp for those new to the overnight experience or a fun bridge to our longer programs!

All check-ins and pick-ups will take place across from OMSI’s North Parking Lot, located at: 1800 SE Water Ave, Portland, OR 97214.
Check-in is at 7am on the start date of the program, and pick-up for OMSI Ambassadors is at 2pm.
