OMSI
OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry) is a science and technology museum offering hands-on exhibits, educational programs, and immersive experiences.
Each summer, OMSI runs day and overnight camps for children entering grades K–12, with programming that includes science, engineering, outdoor adventure, and creative exploration.
Camps are held at the OMSI museum in Portland’s Central Eastside, as well as at Camp Gray on the Oregon Coast and Camp Hancock in the high desert. Prices for Summer Camp will be released when registration opens!
About the activity:
Ready for a summer that totally rocks? This 4-day adventure is the perfect sample of everything that makes Camp Hancock legendary. You’ll hunt for ancient fossils, catch lizards scientist-style, and discover the secrets of the desert insects. When the sun goes down, get ready to watch the stars with your new cabin buddies! Whether this is your first overnight stay or a stepping stone to bigger expeditions, you'll have a blast choosing your own adventures as OMSI leads the way.
All check-ins and pick-ups will take place across from OMSI’s North Parking Lot, located at: 1800 SE Water Ave, Portland, OR 97214.
Check-in is at 7am on the start date of the program, and pick-up for OMSI Ambassadors is at 2pm.
