About the activity:

Lights, camera, action! This week, campers step into the spotlight as filmmakers, creators, and stars of their very own movie—from script to screen! Working in teams, they’ll film Monday through Wednesday, design movie props and playbills, strike a pose at the photo strip station to make personalized bookmarks, and dive into the fun of acting and production. On Friday, it's time to roll out the red carpet for our camp-wide movie premiere, complete with popcorn and big-screen fun in our back room theater. Campers will also take home a custom “Gilchrist Art Camp Film Crew” t-shirt, a Hollywood-inspired ceramic director’s mug, and their very own GAC microphone for endless pretend play. With a digital copy of their film included, this camp is all about creativity, confidence, teamwork, and unforgettable movie magic—no experience needed!
