Northwest Children's Theater & School is a leading Portland arts institution dedicated to educating, entertaining, and enriching the lives of young audiences through live theater and performing arts education.
Each summer, NWCT offers theater camps for ages 4–14, with programs ranging from creative play for young children to full musical productions for older youth.
Camps are held at multiple locations, including downtown Portland, northeast and southeast Portland, Beaverton, and Sherwood.
About the activity:
Step into the Enchanted Forest, where fairies dance on the breeze, trolls guard bridges with tricky riddles, and every path leads to magical mayhem—just watch out for the Whomping Willow and the Fire Swamp! In this whimsical Explore Camp, campers will create bold characters, build fantastical worlds, and dive into a week of theatrical adventure and storytelling. The magic wraps up with a final showcase during the last 15 minutes of camp—if you make it out of the forest!
