Kids will create music for video games and even get to play those games with the tracks they’ve composed, all while learning essential music skills. From music theory and song form to crafting melodies that evoke emotions, campers will master the fundamentals of composing with purpose—one of the trickiest yet most rewarding aspects of music. Perfect for total beginners and experienced musicians alike, this camp makes learning the "hidden rules" of music fun and engaging. Campers will discover how to write songs that shape how people feel, a core principle behind all soundtracks, including video game scores. Bring a device and headphones—iPads preferred—and get ready for a creative and inspiring week! Before and after care are available on a pre-scheduled basis!
