Cookshop is a culinary hub offering cooking classes for both adults and children. Founded by Meredith Mortensen, the studio provides a captivating kitchen space where celebrated chefs and artisans lead classes, fostering culinary skills and community engagement. Their programs include after-school cooking classes for kids, weekend baking sessions, and special events like monthly Slow Food PDX Conviviums and solstice dinners. With a focus on encouraging exploration and building culinary confidence, Cookshop creates an inviting environment for cooks of all ages and skill levels.

About the activity:

*Two spots left!* This summer, let your child’s creativity shine in the kitchen and at the art table! In this unique camp, Make Do and Chef Fabi from Cookshop team up to offer a hands-on experience blending the joys of cooking, baking, and artistic expression. Half the day will be spent whipping up delicious creations with Chef Fabi, while the other half will be dedicated to exploring a variety of art techniques, from illustration and printmaking to sculpture, watercolor, and collage. Plus, we’ll take a break each day for fun and games at nearby Piccolo Park. Get ready for a summer full of flavor, imagination, and creative fun!
