The Wright Clay Studio, founded by Paige Wright, provides ceramics workshops and classes for all skill levels in Portland, Oregon. Students learn the fundamentals of pottery, from wheel throwing to hand-building techniques, in a welcoming, hands-on environment. Looking for a creative spring break activity? This week-long camp is perfect for kids ages 7-13 to explore the joy of ceramics, no matter their skill level! Campers will design and build a large-scale sculpture, practice ceramic techniques like hollowing, and learn about color theory through glazing. Plus, snacks and drinks are provided! Finished creations will be fired and ready for pickup three weeks after camp.
