At School of Rock Portland, we turn aspiring musicians into stage-ready rock stars! Located in the Hawthorne neighborhood, our performance-based programs offer lessons in guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, and vocals, all taught by experienced musicians. Combining private instruction with group band rehearsals, students of all ages and skill levels gain the confidence and skills to perform live at local venues. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, join our vibrant community and unleash your inner rock star!

About the activity:

Designed for beginners ages 8-13, Rock 101 Camp is the ultimate introduction to playing music—no experience necessary! Campers will explore their instruments through fun musical games and activities, all while learning songs from The White Stripes, Green Day, Imagine Dragons, and more. With a supportive and nurturing environment, this camp is perfect for budding musicians looking to build confidence and have fun. From Monday through Friday, students will develop their skills, culminating in an exciting group performance. Join us for an unforgettable week of music and creativity! (Drum spots are full!)
