The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) in Portland, Oregon, is a leading science center offering interactive exhibits, hands-on learning activities, and educational programs for all ages. Learn to surf with licensed instructors from Ossie’s Surf Shop in Newport, building board-riding skills, ocean safety knowledge, and confidence in the waves. Whether you're a first-time surfer or looking to improve, this camp will challenge and inspire you. Beyond the surf, explore Yaquina Bay, hike scenic trails, and wrap up each day around the campfire with new friends. No prior surfing experience is needed, but participants should be in good physical condition. With challenging physical activity, the camp takes place at the Coastal Discovery Center at Camp Gray in Newport, Oregon, with transportation to and from OMSI. Check-in is at 7 a.m. on the first day, and pick-up is at 5 p.m. on the last day.
