Dive deep into space science and explore the universe under some of Oregon’s darkest, clearest skies! Using advanced telescopes, you’ll develop the skills to navigate the night sky and unlock the secrets of the cosmos. Enjoy classic Camp Hancock traditions like river time, songs and skits, and sleeping out under the stars, along with delicious meals—including the famous Chuckwagon breakfast. Master Astronomers builds on Galaxy Adventurers material, but every camp is unique, making it perfect for both first-time stargazers and returning campers. With plenty to discover, everyone can engage at their own level. With moderate physical activity, the camp takes place at Hancock Field Station in Fossil, Oregon, with transportation to and from OMSI. Check-in is at 7 a.m. on the first day, and pick-up is at 5 p.m. on the last day.
