Portland Drama Club is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering Portland's youth through the transformative magic of musical theater. By providing a creative and safe space, they help children gain confidence and learn essential life skills such as empathy, teamwork, and discipline. With a philosophy of learning by doing, every child who joins gets a part, ensuring an inclusive and engaging experience. About the activity:

Join Jack and Annie on a magical journey to the age of knights and castles, where adventure, bravery, and the power of hope come to life on stage! Our two-week camp welcomes 3rd–6th graders for an immersive theater experience, while 1st–2nd graders join in the second week, ensuring a supportive and developmentally appropriate introduction to performing. We believe in setting every child up for success by tailoring activities to their needs—giving younger students the space to build confidence and enjoy the process, while older campers gain leadership experience as mentors. By easing the pressures of showtime and focusing on age-appropriate games and activities, we create a fun, rewarding environment where all students can thrive. The experience culminates in a final performance where every camper takes the stage, proud of their hard work and ready to shine!
