Engineering For Kids of Portland Metro offers hands-on STEM programs for children aged 4 to 14, including classes, camps, and workshops in robotics, coding, and engineering. About the activity:

What makes something sink or float? How can engineers explore and protect the ocean's depths? These questions and more come to life in Junior Marine! Students will dive into marine engineering and mechanics, learn to harness the power of water, and discover innovative designs that turn the impossible into reality. While in the afternoon, this class is the perfect blend of fun and learning with LEGO® WeDo™ Robots! Students will build exciting adventure-themed creations like Airplane Rescue, Giant Escape, and Sailboat Storm using LEGO® bricks. They’ll also bring their models to life by programming and operating them with a laptop. It’s hands-on, engaging, and packed with creativity!
