The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) in Portland, Oregon, is a leading science center offering interactive exhibits, hands-on learning activities, and educational programs for all ages. Use OMSI’s advanced equipment to navigate the night sky, guided by expert instructors who will help you pilot your telescope to dazzling star clusters and distant galaxies. With Fossil, Oregon’s famously clear skies, you’ll get plenty of telescope time and late-night stargazing, balanced by leisurely mornings with Chuckwagon breakfast. During the day, dive into discussions about extraterrestrial life, cool off by the river, or catch up on sleep. Whether you're new to astronomy or a returning Stargazer ready to help guide your peers, this camp is the perfect launchpad for exploring the universe. Ready for more? Continue your journey with Master Astronomers camp. With moderate physical activity, the camp takes place at Hancock Field Station in Fossil, Oregon, with transportation to and from OMSI. Check-in is at 7 a.m. on the first day, and pick-up is at 5 p.m. on the last day.
