The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) in Portland, Oregon, is a leading science center offering interactive exhibits, hands-on learning activities, and educational programs for all ages. At Camp Hancock, you’ll learn essential survival skills like building shelters, safely foraging for food and water, and crafting a survival wristband to keep. Choose your own desert adventure as you explore canyons, cool off by the river, and sleep under a sky full of stars. Enjoy Camp Hancock traditions like Chuckwagon breakfast, adventure games, and campfire singalongs, all while making new friends and gaining confidence in the outdoors. Whether you're a beginner or building on skills from Junior Survival, this camp is a perfect step toward Wilderness Survival. With moderate physical activity, it takes place at Hancock Field Station in Fossil, Oregon, with transportation to and from OMSI. Check-in is at 7 a.m. on the first day, and pick-up is at 5 p.m. on the last day.
