The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) in Portland, Oregon, is a leading science center offering interactive exhibits, hands-on learning activities, and educational programs for all ages. Visitors can explore diverse exhibit halls, including the Turbine Hall, Life Sciences Hall, and Earth Science Hall, each featuring engaging displays and laboratories. OMSI also houses the Kendall Planetarium, one of the most technologically advanced planetariums in the Pacific Northwest, and the USS Blueback Submarine, a retired U.S. Navy submarine open for guided tours.
Set out from Camp Gray on daily adventures to estuaries, sandy beaches, and rocky tide pools, discovering the incredible plants and animals that call the Oregon Coast home. With experienced OMSI instructors guiding the way, you’ll see the coast like never before! With moderate physical activity, the camp takes place at the Coastal Discovery Center at Camp Gray in Newport, Oregon, with transportation to and from OMSI.
