At School of Rock Portland, we turn aspiring musicians into stage-ready rock stars! Located in the Hawthorne neighborhood, our performance-based programs offer lessons in guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, and vocals, all taught by experienced musicians. Combining private instruction with group band rehearsals, students of all ages and skill levels gain the confidence and skills to perform live at local venues. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, join our vibrant community and unleash your inner rock star!

About the activity:

Designed for beginners ages 7-12, Rock 101 Camp is the perfect way for young musicians to explore their instruments through fun musical games and activities—no experience necessary! Campers will learn songs from artists like The White Stripes, Green Day, and Imagine Dragons, building confidence while developing their skills in a supportive and nurturing environment. From Monday through Thursday, they’ll jam, play, and grow as musicians, making this the perfect camp for budding rock stars. Join us for a week of music, creativity, and fun!
